About YallaChaloSKA

“Be ready to say a yes to the scary new opportunities that come your way. You never know whether they’ll come again.” -SKA

YallaChaloSKA is a personal blog that caters to those who’d like to get first hand information from a well traveled girl about self organizing trips and exploring the less commercialized places of each city. Readers get to enjoy travel stories, travel tips and costs written by a girl living in the Middle East for 20+ years. The posts are crafted especially for Muslim travelers, women in particular, to empower them to seek a new challenge through travel.

YallaChaloSKA is a combination of two words and an acronym. The word ‘Yalla’ comes from the Arabic language which roughly means hurry up and “Chalo” is taken from Hindi and Urdu language which means Let’s go.
