A temporary happiness
That’s how I can describe it at best
But all ends when the holiday does
Call it a blessing or call it a curse.
A river of emotions I hide within me
But a quiet face is all they see
I would try to share
If only who I thought cared,
Truly cared.
A challenge. Accomplished.
Then parted ways as though
Nothing ever happened.
I’d be happy for it but I’m not.
So I continue to stare at the blank nothingness wishing….
Wishing to just go back in time.
And perhaps, all would be fine.
All would be fine.
